Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST)

Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that enhances the body’s natural healing process. Using a light touch, a practitioner evaluates the patient’s craniosacral system. This system is made up of the membranes and spinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. The practitioner releases restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

CST is used to treat a range of illnesses including migraine headaches, chronic neck and back pain, emotional difficulties, chronic fatigue, stress and tension-related problems, and fibromyalgia and other connective-tissue disorders.

People with the following conditions can particularly benefit from Cranio-Sacral treatment:

- headache, migraine, menstrual pain

- back pain, neck pain, chronic pain anywhere in the body
