Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a form of medicine rooted in ancient Chinese philosophy. Imbalances in the body can result in a blockage of Qi (“chee”) energy along the energy pathways. The blockage results in chronic disease and pain. Acupuncture is the insertion of sterile, single-use needles under the skin. This helps to balance the body’s energy and improve the circulation of Qi.
Acupuncture is used to treat a variety of conditions, such as acute and chronic pain, migraines, immune deficiencies and digestive disorders. It can also be used for women’s health disorders, anxiety and insomnia.
