Renée Lemieux, M.Ed., CCC

Psychotherapist and EMDR Clinician

Renée combines her open and empathetic personality with her psychotherapy skills to help people achieve their personal goals. By creating a mutually trusting and respectful relationship, she seeks to understand and support clients on their journey to feeling whole. Renée believes that people are resilient and she wishes to empower clients with that belief so they can overcome, learn, and grow from life’s challenges.

Renée uses a person-centered and integrated approach to create a meaningful therapeutic process for each one of her clients. In a comfortable and safe environment, she collaborates with clients to help them recognize their needs, strengths, and resources. Renée will not only help clients manage symptoms, but also attempt to understand and resolve the cause of their suffering. Through the course of psychotherapy, clients can gain the insights, knowledge, and tools necessary to lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Renée offers her services in both English and French.

Renée holds a Master of Education in Educational Counselling, a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
